Sonia Bergamasco, born on 16 January 1966 in Milan, Italy, is a noted Italian actress. She graduated in piano from the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory before enrolling in the drama school of the Piccolo Teatro, where she graduated in 1990. Bergamasco made her stage debut in the same year in Giorgio Strehler's production of Arlecchino dei giovani. Her breakout role came in 2001 when she portrayed Sofia in Giuseppe Bertolucci's film Probably Love. In 2004, she received critical acclaim for her performance in The Best of Youth, earning the Nastro d'Argento for Best Actress alongside the film's female cast. Bergamasco's work spans both stage and screen, showcasing her versatility as an actress. She is currently married.
