Stefanie Maria "Steffi" Graf, born on 14 June 1969 in Mannheim, West Germany, is a former professional tennis player recognized as one of the greatest in the sport's history. Graf achieved a remarkable 22 Grand Slam singles titles, the second highest in history, and holds the record for the most Grand Slam wins in the Open Era. Notably, in 1988, she became the first player to complete the Calendar Year Golden Slam by winning all four Grand Slam titles and the Olympic gold medal in a single year. Graf was ranked World No. 1 for a total of 377 weeks, a record that remains unsurpassed. Throughout her career, she won 107 singles titles and is known for her exceptional versatility across different playing surfaces. Graf resides in the United States and is married.
