Stephen Hopkins
Biography
Stephen Hopkins is an accomplished director known for his work in both film and television. He made his feature film debut with the Australian drama Dangerous Game and gained further recognition with the horror-thriller A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child. His filmography includes notable titles such as Predator 2, Judgement Night, Blown Away, and The Ghost And The Darkness. In television, Hopkins directed three episodes of HBO's acclaimed series Tales From The Crypt, two of which received Cable ACE Award nominations. Additionally, he has won several Australian Emmys, including one for the television special Mick Jagger - Live Down Under. His contributions to the industry reflect a diverse range of genres and styles.
