Susan Cabot was a figure known primarily for her tragic death in Encino, California, on December 10, 1986. On that night, police responded to a report of an intruder at her residence, where they discovered her bludgeoned to death. Her son, Timothy Roman, initially claimed that a tall Latino intruder had attacked them, describing the assailant as using "ninja methods" and stealing approximately $70,000 in cash. However, his account raised suspicions due to the superficial nature of Cabot's injuries. Roman later confessed to killing his mother with a weightlifting barbell and was subsequently charged with murder. The case garnered significant media attention, highlighting issues surrounding familial violence and mental health.
