Syren De Mer, born Shannon Pollock on June 24, 1969, in Bellingham, Washington, is an American actress known for her work in the adult film industry. Raised in Yakima, Washington, she began her career as a gymnastics instructor before pursuing a degree in photography at the Art Institute of Seattle. After college, De Mer worked as a model and became involved in the local swingers community. In 2005, she submitted a portfolio to Playboy, which led to her being discovered by Seymore Butts and subsequently joining the adult industry in 2006 at the age of 36. De Mer is recognized for her distinctive tattoos and piercings. She is a mother of two and currently resides in both Seattle and Los Angeles. De Mer is in a relationship and continues to be active in her field.
