Tae-yeong Son
Biography
Tae-yeong Son, born on August 19, 1980, is a South Korean actress and former beauty queen. She gained recognition as Miss Daegu, placing as the second runner-up in the 2000 Miss Korea pageant. Representing Korea, she achieved 1st runner-up and the Miss Photogenic title at the Miss International pageant that same year. Transitioning to acting, Son has appeared in films such as Sad Movie (2005) and The Railroad (2007), as well as various television dramas, including One Million Roses (2003) and You're the Best, Lee Soon-shin (2013). In 2014, she starred in the Chinese film Love War. Known for her fashion sense, she has hosted multiple beauty and fashion programs. Son married actor Kwon Sang-woo in 2008 and has two children. Her older sister, Son Hye-im, is also a former Miss Korea and is married to composer Yiruma.
