The Jackson 5
Biography
The Jackson 5, later known as The Jacksons, is an American music family group originating from Gary, Indiana. The founding members, Tito, Jackie, Jermaine, Marlon, and Michael, initially performed as The Jackson Brothers before establishing The Jackson 5 in 1964. The group gained significant popularity during their tenure with Motown, releasing iconic hits such as "I Want You Back," "ABC," and "I'll Be There." After leaving Motown in 1976, they continued to find success under the CBS label, producing hits like "Shake Your Body (Down to the Ground)" and "Can You Feel It." Despite a hiatus since 1990, the group has reunited for special performances, including tribute concerts for Michael Jackson following his death in 2009.
