Biography

The Script is an alternative rock band from Dublin, Ireland, formed in 2001 after initially being known as MyTown. The band gained prominence with their self-titled debut album, released in August 2008, which reached number one in both Ireland and the United Kingdom and entered the top ten in Australia and Sweden. The album featured five singles, including "We Cry," "The Man Who Can't Be Moved," and "Breakeven," the latter achieving platinum status in the United States. Following their debut, The Script released their second album, "Science & Faith," in September 2010, with the lead single "For the First Time." The band's music has been featured in various media, including video games and popular television shows. Currently based in London, The Script continues to influence the alternative rock scene with their distinctive sound.
