Tom Cavanagh
Biography
Thomas Cavanagh is a European-Canadian businessman, entrepreneur, actor, producer, director, and game show host, born on October 26, 1963, in Ottawa, Ontario. He is the second of five children in a close-knit family that moved to Ghana when he was six years old, where his father worked in education. The family returned to Canada before Cavanagh began high school in southern Quebec. He attended Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, where he played on the basketball team and earned degrees in English, Biology, and Education. Cavanagh's interest in theater developed when he was cast as Danny Zuko in a Canadian production of "Grease." In his leisure time, he enjoys playing guitar and engaging in various sports.
