Biography

Tom Daley is a British diver known for his expertise in the 10-meter platform event. He achieved notable success in his career, winning two gold medals at the 2010 Commonwealth Games and securing a bronze medal at the 2012 Olympics. Daley also earned a bronze medal in the 10m platform event at the 2016 Olympic Games, collaborating with partner Daniel Goodfellow. His most significant achievement came at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, where he and Matty Lee won the gold medal in Men's synchronized 10m platform diving. Daley has faced personal challenges, including the loss of his father to cancer. He married screenwriter Dustin Lance Black in 2017, after a relationship that began when Daley was 19. The couple has two sons, Robert Ray Black-Daley, born via surrogacy in June 2018, and Phoenix Rose, born in March 2023.
