Biography

Traci Lind, born on April 1, 1968, is a retired American film actress known for her roles in various films during the 1990s. She gained recognition for portraying Janine in the 1990 adaptation of The Handmaid's Tale, as well as Missy McCloud in My Boyfriend's Back and Cat in Wim Wenders' The End of Violence. Lind's filmography includes supporting roles in The Road to Wellville, Class of 1999, and Bugsy. Before her film career, she appeared as Pru Shepherd on the soap opera Ryan's Hope from 1984 to 1985 and starred in the music video for Lou Gramm's "Midnight Blue." Discovered by the Elite modeling agency at age 13, Lind transitioned to acting but retired in 1997, citing her preference for privacy. She has been married to Shakil Richardson since February 27, 1992, and they have two children.
