Biography

Una Stubbs was an English actress, television personality, and former dancer, recognized for her contributions to British television and theatre. She gained prominence with her role in the film Summer Holiday (1963) and became well-known for portraying Rita Rawlins in the BBC sitcoms Till Death Us Do Part and In Sickness and in Health. Stubbs also played Aunt Sally in Worzel Gummidge and Miss Bat in The Worst Witch. In later years, she appeared as Mrs. Hudson, Sherlock Holmes's landlady, in the acclaimed BAFTA award-winning series Sherlock. Throughout her career, Stubbs showcased her versatility across various genres, leaving a lasting impact on the British entertainment industry.
