Biography

Wendy Raquel Robinson, born on July 25, 1967, in Los Angeles, California, is an accomplished actress of African-American and Native American descent. She graduated cum laude from Howard University's School of Fine Arts, earning a B.F.A. in drama. Robinson has performed in numerous plays, including "The Vagina Monologues," "Agnes of God," and "The Colored Museum." She is best known for her role as Principal Regina "Piggy" Grier on the sitcom "The Steve Harvey Show," for which she received three NAACP Image Award nominations for Best Actress in a Comedy. In addition to her television work, Robinson has appeared in films such as "Two Can Play That Game," "Rebound," and "Something New." She also portrayed Tasha Mack in the series "The Game." In 1995, she founded the Amazing Grace Conservatory, a theater arts school for children in Los Angeles. Robinson married Marco Perkins in 2003.
