Biography
Wings was an Anglo-American rock band formed in 1971 by Paul McCartney, along with his wife Linda McCartney, session drummer Denny Seiwell, and former Moody Blues guitarist Denny Laine. The band is known for its commercial success and frequent personnel changes, including three lead guitarists and four drummers over the years. Despite these changes, the core lineup of the McCartneys and Laine remained consistent throughout the group's existence. Wings achieved significant acclaim during the 1970s, producing several hit albums and singles, and played a crucial role in shaping the rock music landscape of the era. The band's music encompassed a variety of styles, contributing to their widespread appeal. Wings disbanded in 1981, leaving a lasting legacy in popular music.
