XTC was a new wave band formed in Swindon, England, active from 1977 to 2005. The group gained recognition for their innovative sound and lyrical depth, achieving notable chart success with hits such as "Making Plans for Nigel" (1979) and "Senses Working Overtime" (1982) in the UK and Canada.
