Biography
Zakk Wylde, born Jeffrey Phillip Wielandt on January 14, 1967, is an American musician, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and occasional actor. He is best known as the former guitarist for Ozzy Osbourne and as the founder of the heavy metal band Black Label Society. Wylde gained recognition for his distinctive bulls-eye design, which is featured on many of his guitars. He was also the lead guitarist and vocalist for the band Pride & Glory, which released a self-titled album in 1994 before disbanding. As a solo artist, he released the album Book of Shadows in 1996. Throughout his career, Wylde has been influential in the heavy metal genre and has collaborated with various artists.
