Biography
Zlata Ognevich, born Inna Leonidivna Bordyuh on 12 January 1986, is a Ukrainian singer known for her participation in the Eurovision Song Contest. She was born in Murmansk, Russia, and later grew up in Sudak, Ukraine. Ognevich is a graduate of Rheingold M. Glière Music College and is a soloist with the Ensemble of Song and Dance of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. She first attempted to represent Ukraine in Eurovision in 2010 with the song "Tiny Island," finishing fifth. In 2011, she placed second with "The Kukushka." Ognevich won the national selection for Eurovision 2013 with her song "Gravity," which secured third place in the final with 214 points. Additionally, she hosted the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2013. Her contributions to music have made her a notable figure in the Ukrainian cultural landscape.
