Biography

Aaron Charles Rodgers (born December 2, 1983) is an American football quarterback for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at the University of California, Berkeley, where he set several passing records, including the lowest single-season and career interception rates. Rodgers was selected in the first round of the 2005 NFL Draft by the Packers. After serving as a backup to Brett Favre for three years, he became the starting quarterback in 2008. Rodgers led the Packers to victory in Super Bowl XLV after the 2010 season and was named Super Bowl MVP. He has been recognized with multiple accolades, including the Associated Press Athlete of the Year in 2011. Notably, Rodgers holds the NFL's all-time career passer rating record for the regular season at 105.2 and has the lowest career interception percentage at 1.7 percent. In June 2025, he announced his marriage a few months prior.
