Biography
Andreea Mădălina Răducan, born on 30 September 1983 in Bârlad, Romania, is a retired gymnast renowned for her achievements in the late 1990s. She began training at the Romanian junior national facility at the age of 12½ and quickly emerged as a leading member of the national team. Răducan's competitive career spanned four years, during which she earned medals at both the Olympic Games and World Championships, securing three individual World Championship titles on the floor exercise and balance beam. Notably, she represented Romania at the 2000 Sydney Olympics, contributing to the team's gold medal and winning an individual silver medal on the vault. After retiring from gymnastics, Răducan transitioned to a career in sports broadcasting with EuroSport and hosts her own television show. She is also pursuing a Master's degree in journalism at the University of Bucharest and currently resides in New Zealand.
