Biography

Angelique Pettyjohn, born Dorothy Lee Perrins on March 11, 1943, in Los Angeles, California, was an American actress and burlesque performer. She gained prominence for her role as Shahna, the drill thrall, in the Star Trek episode "The Gamesters of Triskelion." Raised in Salt Lake City, Utah, Pettyjohn began her film career in 1967 under the name Angelique, appearing in titles such as The Touch of Her Flesh and The Love Rebellion. Her notable appearances included a role as a go-go dancer in the Elvis Presley film Clambake and a part in the 1968 comedy The Odd Couple. In 1969, she co-starred in the science fiction sex comedy The Curious Female and had supporting roles in other films, including the Western Heaven with a Gun and the biker film Hell's Belles. Angelique Pettyjohn passed away on February 14, 1992.
