Biography

Anne Consigny, born on 25 May 1963 in France, is a prominent French actress known for her work in theater and film. She is the daughter of Pierre Consigny, a notable political figure and president of the French Red Cross, and the fourth of five children. Consigny began her theatrical career at the age of nine and trained under renowned directors, including Peter Brook. She joined the Comédie-Française and made her film debut in 1984. After a two-decade hiatus from cinema and theater, she returned in the early 2000s, taking on roles in productions such as "The Bison" and "36 Quai des Orfèvres." Her performance in "I'm Not Here to Be Loved" earned her a César nomination in 2006. Consigny has also appeared in various films, including "A Christmas Tale" and "Wild Grass." She has two sons, Vladimir and Louis.
