Biography

Bojan Krkić, born on August 28, 1990, in Lleida, Catalonia, is a Spanish footballer known for his time at FC Barcelona. He has a Serbian father and a Spanish mother. Bojan joined FC Barcelona's youth academy in 1999 and progressed through the ranks, playing for the B team during the 2006-07 season. He made his official debut for the senior team on September 16, 2007, at the age of 17, becoming the youngest player to feature in a UEFA Champions League match for the club just days later. He scored his first Champions League goal on April 1, 2008, making him the first player born in the 1990s to score in the competition. Bojan concluded his debut season with 10 goals, surpassing Raúl's record for the most goals in a debut season at Barcelona.
