Biography

BTS, also known as Bangtan Boys, is a seven-member South Korean boy group formed by Big Hit Entertainment. They debuted on June 13, 2013, with the song "No More Dream." The group's name, Bangtan Sonyeondan, translates to "bulletproof boy scouts." Since their debut, BTS has achieved significant recognition, winning multiple "New Artist of the Year" awards at various music awards, including the 2013 MelOn Music Awards, Golden Disk Awards, and the 2014 Seoul Music Awards. They have also received two major bonsang awards for their album "Dark & Wild." The members of BTS are known for their diverse talents, contributing as vocalists, rappers, and dancers, and they have garnered a large global fanbase. BTS continues to influence the music industry and popular culture, both in South Korea and internationally.
