Biography
Kamile Burcu Esmersoy, born on 2 October 1976 in Istanbul, Turkey, is a prominent Turkish anchorwoman, journalist, occasional actress, and beauty pageant contestant. She has some Circassian ancestry and completed her secondary education at Beşiktaş Lisesi before pursuing a degree in Tourism Management at Istanbul University. Esmersoy furthered her education at New York University, studying Hospitality, Tourism, and Sports Management.
She gained recognition in 1997 by placing fourth in the Miss Turkey contest, subsequently representing Turkey at the Miss International pageant in Japan. Her broadcasting career began with a children's program on Kanal D, followed by a role as a sports presenter and coordinator at CNN Türk from 2000 to 2005. In 2006, she joined NTV to present the Spor Servisi program. Esmersoy also participated in the reality dance competition Yok Böyle Dans. She was married to Massimo Cusimano from 2005 to 2008.
