Biography

Chris Pontius is an American entertainer known for his work in extreme comedy and television. He began his career as a skateboarder and quickly transitioned into writing for Big Brother Skateboarding magazine in the early 1990s. Pontius gained widespread recognition as a member of the hit television and film franchise Jackass, where he showcased his daring antics alongside fellow cast members. He co-created and hosted the series Wildboyz, which combined elements of nature and comedy. In addition to his work on Jackass, Pontius has acted in various films and television shows, including Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, What We Do Is Secret, Raising Hope, Sofia Coppola's Somewhere, and the Netflix film Game Over Man. Most recently, he co-starred with Johnny Knoxville in the film Action Point. Pontius aims to continue pursuing diverse acting roles in the future.
