Demet Evgar
Biography
Demet Evgar is a Turkish actress born in 1980 in Manisa. She graduated from the Theater Department of Istanbul University. Evgar began her acting career at the age of 17 with the amateur group Afsem Theatre, performing in the play "Kac Baba Kac" by Roy Cooney. During her years at the conservatory, she founded the theater group Tiyatro Kilcik, where she worked as both a writer and an actress. Currently, she is a member of the Kenter Theatre. Evgar has received several awards for her performances, including the "Afife Jale" Best Supporting Actress award for her role in "Gece Mevsimi," as well as accolades from the VI. Lions Theatre Awards and the 12th Sadri Alışık Awards for her performance in "Anna Karenina."
