Biography

Dominique Rijpma van Hulst, known by her stage name Do, was born on 7 September 1981 in Valkenswaard, Netherlands. She is a singer recognized for her vocals on DJ Sammy's hit "Heaven," which achieved worldwide success in 2002-2003. This song is a cover of Bryan Adams' 1980s classic. Do has released two albums: "Do" and "Follow Me."

Before pursuing music, she was a talented tennis player and began preparing for a competitive career at age 15, but her ambitions were cut short by an injury. Her musical journey began with a performance at café Old Dutch, leading to a record deal with Sony Music BMG. On July 7, 2007, Do married Marc Verschoor in Barcelona, Spain.
