Dong-hae Lee
Biography
Lee Dong-hae is a South Korean singer, songwriter, and actor, best known as a member of the boy band Super Junior and its subgroups Super Junior-M and Donghae & Eunhyuk. He was born in Mokpo, South Jeolla Province, South Korea. Dong-hae began his career in 2001 after winning a prize at SM Entertainment's Youth Best Contest and debuted with Super Junior 05 on November 6, 2005. He made his acting debut in the horror documentary "Mystery 6" and has appeared in various dramas, including "Skip Beat!" and "Ms. Panda and Mr. Hedgehog." Throughout his career, Dong-hae has contributed to Super Junior's music, co-writing and co-composing several songs. He served in the military as a conscripted policeman starting in October 2015. Dong-hae is recognized as one of the first Korean artists to appear on Chinese postage stamps.
