Biography

Dong-won Kang is a South Korean actor and model, born in Busan to a wealthy family. His father, Kang Cheol-woo, serves as the vice president of SPP Heavy Industries, a leading global shipping company. At the age of seven, Kang's family relocated to Changwon. Demonstrating academic excellence, he achieved an IQ of 137 and was accepted into Hanyang University, where he graduated with honors in Mechanical Engineering. His modeling career began in 2000 after being discovered by an agent while on the streets. Kang transitioned into acting, initially appearing in television dramas before making his film debut in "Too Beautiful to Lie." His breakout role came with "Temptation of the Wolves," which established him as one of South Korea's top actors. Throughout his career, Kang has gained recognition for his versatile performances and significant contributions to the South Korean entertainment industry.
