Biography
Frankie Adams is a Samoan New Zealand actress recognized for her performances in television and film. She is best known for her role as Bobbie Draper in the science fiction series The Expanse and as Ula Levi in the long-running soap opera Shortland Street. Born on the island of Savaiʻi in Samoa, Adams is the eldest of three daughters and attended Auckland Girls Grammar School. She began her acting career at the age of 16 with her role in Shortland Street. Adams has also appeared in the television series Wentworth and the film One Thousand Ropes. In 2016, she joined the main cast of The Expanse, portraying a Martian Marine Corps gunnery sergeant, a role she continued through the series' conclusion. Additionally, Adams participated in a charity boxing event, Fight for Life, where she lost the exhibition match by decision.
