Gauhar Khan

Biography

Gauhar Khan, born on 23 August 1981 in Pune, Maharashtra, India, is an Indian actress and model. She is the sister of television actress Nigaar Z. Khan and completed her education at Mount Carmel Convent High School in Pune. Gauhar gained initial recognition by participating in the 2002 Femina Miss India contest, where she secured the fourth position and represented India at the Miss International pageant.

Her career began with appearances in music videos and television advertisements, including campaigns for Bajaj Auto and Tanishq jewellery. She has also modeled for renowned designer Manish Malhotra. Gauhar made her film debut in 2003 with "Miss India: The Mystery" and gained popularity for her role in the 2009 film "Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year." Additionally, she has participated in reality television, notably finishing as the runner-up in "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa" and starring in "Khan Sisters."
