Heather Burns
Biography
Heather Burns, born in 1975 in Chicago, Illinois, is an American actress and writer recognized for her roles in television and film, including "One Life to Live," "You've Got Mail," and "Miss Congeniality." She is a graduate of the Atlantic Theatre Company Acting School and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. Burns studied at The Second City in Chicago and attended the Yale School of Drama for a summer. She is the daughter of a Chicago lawyer and considered pursuing a legal career herself. Burns has been engaged to Ajay Naidu, her boyfriend since high school. In July 2008, she appeared on Broadway in the Roundabout Theatre's production of "The Marriage of Bette & Boo." Known for her aversion to driving, she expresses discomfort with the aggressiveness associated with it.
