Hwasa, born on July 23, 1995, in Jeonju, South Korea, is a prominent South Korean singer, songwriter, and television personality. She debuted in June 2014 as a member of the girl group MAMAMOO under RBW, where she serves as a vocalist, rapper, and the group's maknae. Hwasa is also part of the project group Refund Sisters, which debuted in October 2020. She has contributed to MAMAMOO's discography by writing and composing several songs, including "My Heart/I Do Me." In addition to her music career, she is a permanent member of the reality show "I Live Alone," showcasing her life as a single adult. Hwasa has received accolades, including the Rookie Female of the Year in Variety in 2018.
