Biography
Hyapatia Lee, born Vickie Lynch on November 11, 1960, in Indianapolis, Indiana, is a former adult film star and current musician. She began her career in entertainment in the early 1980s, performing as an actress at the Black Curtain Dinner Theatre and later as an exotic dancer at the Red Garter Lounge, where she adopted the name Hyapatia to honor her Cherokee heritage. In 1983, she transitioned to the adult film industry, appearing in approximately 36 films before retiring in 1993. During her career, she received several accolades, including induction into the XRCO Hall of Fame and a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Free Speech Coalition. Following her retirement from adult films, Lee became the lead singer of the rock band Double Euphoric and has been an advocate for environmental issues and animal rights. She was previously married to director Bud Lee, with whom she has children.
