Kim Jae Wook, born on April 2, 1983, in Seoul, South Korea, is a prominent actor and model. He spent his early childhood in Japan before returning to Korea at age seven. Initially starting his career in music, he performed in a band before transitioning to modeling at 17. Kim made his acting debut in the 2002 MBC drama "Ruler of Your Own World." His breakthrough role came in 2007 with the hit series "The 1st Shop of Coffee Prince," which significantly increased his popularity across Asia. He gained critical acclaim for his performance in the 2008 film "Antique," earning the Best New Actor award at the 16th Korean Entertainment Awards. Kim has also appeared in notable dramas such as "The Kingdom of The Winds" and "Bad Guy." He received the Special Model Award at the Asia Model Festival Awards in 2009.
