Biography
Jonathan Kendrick Lewis (October 29, 1983 – September 26, 2012), known as Johnny K. Lewis, was an American actor recognized for his role as Kip "Half-Sack" Epps in the FX series Sons of Anarchy. He also starred in television shows such as The Sausage Factory, Quintuplets, and The O.C., and appeared in films including Underclassman, Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem, Felon, and The Runaways. In 2011, Lewis suffered head trauma from a motorcycle accident, which contributed to a decline in his mental health and legal issues. On September 26, 2012, he was found dead alongside his landlady, Catherine Davis, in a case ruled accidental. Lewis had a history of drug abuse, and his family raised concerns about untreated head trauma potentially impacting his behavior. His death prompted discussions about mental health and the consequences of untreated injuries among performers.
