Biography
Jules Asner, born Julie Ann White on February 14, 1968, in Tempe, Arizona, is an American television personality, writer, and former fashion model. Discovered at a modeling convention in Scottsdale at the age of 16, she began her career with Elite Model Management and shared living quarters with notable models, including Cindy Crawford. After graduating from McClintock High School in 1986, Asner attended the University of California, Los Angeles, where she earned a degree in Political Science. She was briefly married to Matthew Asner, the son of actor Edward Asner, before marrying film director Steven Soderbergh on May 10, 2003. Soderbergh has acknowledged Asner's influence on his female characters. Asner continues to reside in the United States.
