Biography

Julie Estelle Gasnier, known professionally as Julie Estelle, is an Indonesian actress and model born on January 4, 1989, in Jakarta, Indonesia. She gained international recognition for her roles in slasher and martial arts films, including Macabre (2009), The Raid 2 (2014), and The Night Comes for Us (2018). Estelle won the Best New Actress award at the 2015 Jackie Chan Action Movie Awards. She began her acting career at 15 in the romance film Alexandria, earning the MTV Indonesia Award for "Most Favorite Rising Star" in 2006. Estelle studied Business at Lycee International Francais de Jakarta. Throughout her career, she has appeared in numerous local films and TV series, and she has also worked as a model. In February 2021, she married racer David Tjiptobiantoro, and they welcomed their first child, a daughter named Brielle Léïa Tjiptobiantoro, in July 2023.
