Katarina Cas

Biography

Katarina Cas was born on September 23, 1976, in Slovenj Gradec, Slovenia, then part of Yugoslavia. She is an actress and assistant director, recognized for her roles in films such as El lobo de Wall Street (2013), El irlandés (2011), and Nunca es tarde (2015). Cas began her film career at the age of 13 and later graduated with a degree in Communication and Marketing from the Faculty of Economy at the University of Ljubljana. She is fluent in Slovenian, Serbo-Croatian, German, and English. Cas is the daughter of Miran Cas, a forest ranger, and Aleksandra, and has a younger half-sister and half-brother. Her surname translates to "time" or "hour" in Slovenian. Currently residing in London, she has familial ties to Andrej Cas, the Zupan of Mestne Obcine of Slovenj Gradec. Cas is an animal lover and owns a dog.
