Kim Da-hyun, known mononymously as Dahyun, is a South Korean singer and rapper born on May 28, 1998, in Seongnam, Gyeonggi-do. She is a member of the girl group formed by JYP Entertainment through the reality show Sixteen, where she serves as the lead rapper and sub vocalist. Dahyun became a trainee after passing an audition on July 7, 2012, having previously been scouted during a youth dance festival. She gained popularity pre-debut due to her viral "Eagle dance" video. Dahyun is known for her unique stage presence and has appeared in music videos for artists like GOT7 and Wooyoung. She enjoys chocolate, has a fondness for milk, and has a playful personality, often sharing her experiences with fans through social media.
