Biography

Son Chae Young, born on April 23, 1999, is a South Korean singer and the main rapper of the girl group TWICE, under JYP Entertainment. She was born in Seoul and has a younger brother named Jeong Hun, who is an aspiring model. Chaeyoung passed her audition with JYP on June 6, 2012, and attended Hanlim Multi Arts School. She is known for her artistic talents, including drawing, and has contributed to songwriting, co-writing the track "Eye Eye Eyes." Chaeyoung enjoys basketball and Disney cartoons, and her representative color is red. She is a Catholic and shares a room with fellow members Dahyun and Tzuyu in their dorm.
