Lisa Gastoni
Biography
Lisa Gastoni, born on 28 July 1935, is an Italian film actress renowned for her contributions to cinema. She was awarded "Best Italian Actress of the Year, 1966," receiving both the Nastro D'Argento Award and the Golden Globe Award from Italy's Foreign Press Association. Gastoni, the daughter of an Italian father and an Irish mother, moved to England in 1948, initially aspiring to be an architect before shifting her focus to modeling and acting. She appeared in various B movies during the 1950s and co-starred in the ITV series The Four Just Men (1959) and an episode of Danger Man (1960). After relocating to Italy in the 1960s, she gained prominence in sword-and-sandal films and notable projects, particularly in Grazie, zia by Salvatore Samperi. Following her retirement from acting in 1979, she pursued painting and writing but made a return to the screen in 2005 with Cuore Sacro.
