Maria Bartiromo, born on September 11, 1967, in Brooklyn, New York, is an American television journalist, magazine columnist, and author. She serves as the host of "Mornings with Maria" and is the Global Markets editor at Fox Business Network. Additionally, she hosts "Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo" on the Fox News Channel. Bartiromo began her career at CNN before moving to CNBC, where she gained recognition as the anchor of "Closing Bell" and the host of "On the Money with Maria Bartiromo." Notably, she was the first reporter to broadcast live from the floor of the New York Stock Exchange. Bartiromo has received numerous journalism awards and was inducted into the Cable Hall of Fame. She graduated from New York University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism and economics. In 1999, she married Jonathan Steinberg, the CEO of WisdomTree Investments.
