Biography

Mariana Renata Dantec, known as Mariana Renata, is a French-Indonesian model and actress recognized for her roles in the films Janji Joni (2005), The Matchmaker (2006), and the Nic And Mar series (2015). Born to a French father and an Indonesian mother, she began her modeling career at 13 in Jakarta. Renata holds an undergraduate degree in English Culture and Literature from Paris-Sorbonne University and a Master of Commerce in International Business from the University of New South Wales. She has walked runways in major fashion capitals and has served as a brand ambassador for various global brands. In addition to her modeling career, she has appeared in music videos and participated in campaigns for social causes, including HIV awareness. Renata has lived in New York City since 2011 and is represented by Wilhelmina Models and Innovative Artists.
