Biography

Marina Hands is a French actress, born to actress Ludmila Mikaël and British director Terry Hands. She developed a passion for horseback riding in her youth and became an international show jumping competitor in the 1990s, although she later pursued a career in acting. Hands trained at Cours Florent, the Conservatoire national supérieur d'art dramatique, and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. She gained recognition in theater for her roles in works such as Le Bel Air de Londres and Phèdre. On television, she won two acting awards for her performance in Un pique-nique chez Osiris. Hands received a César Award for Best Actress for her role in Lady Chatterley and was named an officer of the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres in 2012. She has also appeared in various films, including Ne le dis à personne and Les Invasions barbares.
