Marlène Jobert
Biography
Marlène Jobert, born on 4 November 1940 in Algiers, French Algeria, is a French actress, singer, and author. She is of Pied-Noir heritage and has Jewish ancestry. At the age of eight, she moved to Metropolitan France. In addition to her acting career, Jobert has gained recognition as an author and narrator of children's audiobooks and has written a series of books that introduce classical music to young audiences, featuring composers such as Mozart, Chopin, and Tchaikovsky. She is married to Swedish dentist Walter Green and is the mother of two daughters: Eva Green, who is also an actress, and Joy Green, who is currently attending business school.
