Mason Mount

Biography

Mason Tony Mount is an English professional footballer who plays as an attacking or central midfielder for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team. He began his youth career at Chelsea, where he won several youth titles, including the U18 Premier League and FA Youth Cup. Mount made his senior debut for Chelsea in 2019, contributing to the team's successes, including winning the UEFA Champions League in 2021. He has also represented England at various levels, including being part of the squad that reached the final of the UEFA European Championship in 2020. Mount has received numerous individual accolades, such as Chelsea Player of the Year for the 2020–21 season and UEFA European Under-19 Championship Golden Player in 2017. Off the field, he has a longstanding friendship with fellow England international Declan Rice and supports Portsmouth.
