Biography
Mickey Mouse, created by Walt Disney and Ub Iwerks, is a cartoon character who debuted on November 18, 1928, with the release of "Steamboat Willie," the first synchronized sound cartoon. Although he had appeared earlier in "Plane Crazy," "Steamboat Willie" marked his official introduction to the public. Mickey has since become an iconic figure for The Walt Disney Company and is recognized globally. He has evolved from a simple animated character to a cultural symbol, appearing in various media, including television series like "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse." In late 2009, Disney announced plans to rebrand Mickey by reintroducing aspects of his mischievous personality. Currently, he remains a central figure in Disney's branding and entertainment offerings.
