Biography

Randy Couture, born on June 22, 1963, is a retired American mixed martial artist, Greco-Roman wrestler, and actor. He is a three-time former heavyweight champion and a two-time former light-heavyweight champion of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), as well as the winner of the UFC 13 tournament. Couture made history as the first fighter to hold championship titles in two different divisions and has competed in a record 15 title fights. He holds the record for the most title reigns in UFC history, with five. His last fight against Lyoto Machida marked his 24th appearance in the UFC, placing him among the fighters with the most bouts in the organization. Couture was inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame and is widely regarded as one of the most popular figures in mixed martial arts.
