Razane Jammal
Biography
Razane Jammal (Arabic: رزان جمّال) was born on 7 August 1987 in Lebanon. She is a British-Lebanese actress currently residing in the United States. Standing at 170 cm (5' 7"), Jammal gained prominence for her portrayal of Lyta Hall in the Netflix series The Sandman. Her career began with a breakout role in the 2010 film Carlos, followed by a lead role in Tobe Hooper's horror film Djinn in 2012. In 2014, she appeared alongside Liam Neeson in A Walk Among the Tombstones. Jammal starred in Robert Guédiguian's film Don't Tell Me The Boy Was Mad, which premiered at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival. She also played Maggie in the Netflix Original series Paranormal, adapted from the works of Ahmed Khaled Tawfik. In May 2021, Jammal was announced as part of the cast for The Sandman, based on Neil Gaiman's graphic novel.
